    Direct Support Professional / Home Coordinator



    We are seeking:

    About the Job Title and the Company: Are you looking for a fulfilling opportunity in Indianapolis, IN? Join our team as a Home Coordinator at a leading Texas-based provider of services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). At Caregiver, Inc., we are dedicated to supporting individuals in leading their best lives through personalized treatment plans.


    Job Overview:


    The Home Coordinator role involves providing guidance to direct care staff responsible for clients with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in a supported living or community-based setting. This includes overseeing staff activities, ensuring client documentation is accurate and timely, and being on-call 24/7 for emergencies.


    • Plans, organizes, and supervises client care
    • Monitors staff activities and supports
    • Ensures adherence to individual care plans and quality standards
    • Assists with staffing coordination
    • Maintains client financial records and household operations
    • Organizes daily activities and medical appointments
    • Performs other assigned duties

    Qualifications:


    • One-year supervisory experience with disabled individuals preferred

    Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:


    • Indiana Driver's License
    • Automobile Insurance
    • CPR and First Aid certification (Provided if needed)

    Knowledge and Skills:


    • Strong decision-making and coaching skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Ability to work in a demanding environment
    • Effective mentoring and leadership abilities

    Equipment skills required: PC, calculator, copier, fax machine, scanner.


    Physical Demands and Work Environment:


    • Sitting 50%, Standing and walking 30%
    • Bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and kneeling 30%
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Operate office equipment
    • Standard office setting with occasional temperature fluctuations
    • Flexibility for non-standard work hours as needed
