    Description
    Spherion Staffing is looking to fill a temporary Office Assistant position in Minot, ND.

    As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient office operations by providing administrative support and assisting in various tasks.

    This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

    Business hours- estimated 32hrs a week.
    Temporary - 3 month estimate

    Pay:
    $17-20/hour DOE


    Responsibilities:

    • Answer and direct phone calls
    • Greet the cleaners, clients, visitors etc.
    • Organize and schedule appointments and meetings
    • Maintain contact lists
    • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms to internal & external stakeholders
    • Prepare and submit invoices to team
    • Ensure operation of equipment by submitting preventive maintenance requisitions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques
    • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating the required supplies; placing supplies orders; verifying receipt of supplies
    • Reply to emails, respond to phone calls, or face to face inquiries
    • Develop and update administrative systems to make it more efficient
    Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus
    • Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Ability to work independently
