    SR. STORAGE ENGINEER


    MUST be commutable to our Alpharetta, GA headquarters location LexisNexis Risk Solutions is hiring for a Systems Engineer to join our growing data management team.

    Great opportunity for a Storage Engineer who wants to work on cloud platforms.

    The ideal candidate selected for this exciting new role will be provided with the opportunity to perform all aspects of data management for the organization.

    Everything from provisioning, protecting, and migrating/deploying.

    You will be working with a highly skilled team from around the globe that share in your passion of technology.

    Requirements / Qualifications

    BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
    5+ years of Systems Engineering experience
    Enterprise Backup Experience for e.g Commvault, Avamar, Netbackup, IDPA Veeam or any other back up system.
    Enterprise Storage Experience for e.g HPE-Nimble , Unity, Hitachi, etc.
    Familiarity with Windows and Linux OS
    Nice to have

    Cloud Storage Experience (Provisioning, best practices, etc. (prefer Azure))AWS or GCP
    Terraform experience (deploying as code)
    Bash/Python Scripting experience
    Automation Experience
    Familiarity with GitHub and managing code
    Basic infrastructure troubleshooting (networking, application, etc.)
    Storage best practices and troubleshooting
    Brocade switch experience
    Monitoring experience
    Possesses a growth mindset and passion for learning
    Able to deliver clear and concise communication

    Responsibilities:
    Architect and deploy data protection for both on-prem and cloud data. Deliver on SLA's for restores and backups
    Identify opportunities to apply automation or other tools to improve the effectiveness or efficiency of testing
    Work with project managers/technical leads/subject matter experts to plan and execute functional system tests
    Work out of a team ticketing system queue
    Ensure testing addresses requirements as agreed with various stakeholders
    Work across teams to enhance quality functional testing by identifying and helping to implement initiatives that will improve capability and efficiency
    Will be part of a team on-call rotation
