Description

Searching for a Datacenter Technician, this is an indefinite contract, you are needed every year. You will be responsible for working within a team to build a consolidated data center supporting a complex IT network environment involving support to dispersed sites across the state of GA. This role will serve as an administrator specializing in all datacenter duties including but not limited to physical environment, server, storage, network and hypervisor.

Key Duties/Tasks ·

Install, configure and manage virtualization environments.
Install, configure, and manage both physical and virtual storage solutions
Install, configure and manage Datacenter Infrastructure
Install, configure, and manage Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Power Distribution Units (PDUs), servers, etc.
Analyze systems requirements in response to requirements, risks, and costs by working directly with management and system administrators.
Evaluate new systems information technologies and their effect on the environment.
Continually monitors and fine-tunes performance of the Information Systems.
Apply Information Technology (IT) expertise, including feasibility studies, technical evaluation, justification, acquisition/procurement, installation, implementation, management, and administration of IT systems.
Create, update and follow SOPs and other documentation (ex. Change and configuration management.)

REQUIRED:

Five (5) years of experience in Information Technology
Five (5) years of physical datacenter experience
Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills

NICE TO HAVE

· Two (2) years of experience VMware/Hyper-V Virtualization administration experience
