Job DescriptionDescription:General Summary of Position
Provide technical leadership and direction in Controls Engineering design to facilitate the overall design and manufacture
of custom high-pressure equipment, including Metal Diaphragm Compressors, Pressure Vessels, Reactors, Cold
Isostatic Presses and Containment Cells etc. Strong technical competencies required along with ability to meet deadlines
and resolve complex issues.
II. Essential Duties
• Develop the control specifications and requirements to design the overall process flow and functions of complex compressorbased process components and systems.
• Lead the design to specify, develop and document the controls integration hardware and logic capability for functional
operation and meet customer contract specifications.
• Design the control narrative for the PLC control programs, scope Input/Output, DI-DO, AI-AO requirements and
ensure compatibility and integration in HMI and SCADA client systems to meet project requirements.
• Develop and design test and commissioning manuals.
• Integrate and align customer specification with capabilities and constraints of manufacturing operations and
leverage continuous improvement initiatives to deliver work products.
• Understand the impacts on other engineering disciplines to allow collaboration on a unified solution.
• Assist with trouble shooting to find root cause and implement corrective action when needed.
• Assist in the development of standard processes involving our equipment that can foster the development of standard
product offerings.
• Keep informed of new technology, techniques, and practices.
• Assist with mentoring early career engineers.
• Professionalism, regular attendance, and punctuality are required.
• Follows policies and procedures.
• Operates safely in all conditions
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements
listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made

• BSc. or MSc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering or relevant discipline required.
• 15+ years' experience in design, development of hardware controls and logic programming of process control systems
for large scale projects.
• Knowledge of process instrumentation including pressure monitoring devices, valves, temperature monitoring devices
and motor control equipment.
• Multiple PLC platforms programming expertise and experience.
• Experienced with 2D CAD required with 3D modeling a plus.
• Knowledge of process industry instrument and electrical standards including hazardous area standards such as NFPA 2,
ASME B31.3, CGA
• Excellent computer skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and AutoCAD (or similar drafting
software).
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts (verbal and written).
• Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Hydrogen is a big plus.
• Practical with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to display and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment.
• Experience with standard Microsoft Office and related technology.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States or applicable country of assignment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours across all shifts, weekends, etc based upon business operational demands and may
be required to operate across various locations
