We are currently sourcing for a Senior Management Consultant to work in the Advanced Process Solutions division within Fidelity Investments in Westlake, TX, Durham, NC, Boston, MA, or Salt Lake City, UT
    The Role
    The Senior Management Consultant supports crafting Fidelity's digital servicing strategy demonstrating core and common capabilities and solutions. At Fidelity, we have an objective to digitize and automate client interactions and business processes.     This role will work with the Advanced Process Solutions (APS) senior team and members, and APS Enterprise Architecture in the creation and delivery of solutions that complement the organization's current product management and development functions. The role includes responsibility for supervising and leading teams conducting business case development reviews and plans, driving rigor and sound decision making with our technology spend, and driving alignment towards an Enterprise-wide focus on unit cost. In our organization, we align to all major businesses at Fidelity that use APS platforms today. In addition, the individual will partner with digital product owners as well as leaders in our business and technology organizations. Our long-term focus and growth of the team will be to develop proficiency in the areas of building and applying solutions, making sound capital investment decisions, and developing team member expertise and skillsets. The Senior Management Consultant blends deep business, engineering, and design expertise while coaching, mentoring, and growing associates, and is deeply committed to delivering value to our business partners. In the Agile structure, we partner with other Fidelity leaders to build and evolve consistent practices and standards for the niche skills and expertise of the team, and influence the vision, strategic decisions, solutions development and priorities, domain to your expertise. This role will oversee projects staffed by Business Architecture associates, who will primarily support Product Areas and Teams, autonomous Squads, and/or initiatives on a time-limited, as needed basis. It is critical that the individual filling this role be passionate about helping associates grow and develop in their expertise and is committed to developing expertise and knowledge to bring the latest thinking to the role.
    The Expertise You Have
    - Fifteen years of Business Design & Transformation Experience or Management Consulting experience (or equivalent). Business Architecture a plus - Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate at the level of the business and technology audience (junior associates to senior management)- Success leading and delivering complex strategic and growth initiatives - Extensive Major Initiative/Program Management experience - Financial Services / Benefits Outsourcing industry experience - Advanced/expert knowledge and proven business application of Business Architecture; Enterprise Solution Architecture experience a plus - Systems analysis and design and/or technology architecture a plus - Enterprise-level Business Value Analysis, Business Case Development and Planning - Functional Financial Services and Operations Expertise - Comfortable with complexity, ambiguity, and managing change; self-motivated - Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact and influence effectively with all levels of management and peers - Excellent presentation, documentation, communication and influencing skills as well as skills for influencing technology direction in business context. Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions. - Complex case development for large scale technology efforts - Strong ownership and accountability to deliver results - Management System Design & Enablement - Agile and Functional Senior Leadership & Execution - Demonstrated problem-solving expertise - (Nice to have) Expertise in Workflow, Orchestration and Document Management Systems, as well as related digital capabilities The Team
    • We work in a highly matrixed operating environment, aligned within the Firm's agile operating model and working with key business partners.
    • You will work within APS' Business Architecture Center of Excellence alongside team members and business partners from a range of backgrounds, including business process re-engineers/lean practitioners, solution architects, product teams, and others.
