- Lead procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, components, and services required for manufacturing.
- Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
- Implement and champion Lean Practices to drive efficiency, eliminate waste, and improve overall operational performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless coordination throughout the supply chain.
- Create and maintain reports and documentation as needed.
- Utilize ERP or MRP systems to manage inventory, track orders, and generate reports to support informed decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or 10 years commiserate experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Senior Buyer or similar procurement role.
- Proven experience in manufacturing, with a strong understanding of the procurement process.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and sustain Lean Practices in procurement operations.
- Proficiency in using ERP / MRP systems.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- International procurement experience a plus.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
