If so, Copart is looking for you We have an immediate opening for a Business Licensing Specialist who has strong organizational skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.

    The individual in this role will be responsible for securing, coordinating and submitting License and Permit applications and renewals.

    He/She will also be required to effectively communicate with the operations team, various state agencies and the Corporate Licensing Department to ensure timely and efficient license acquisitions and renewals.

    Essential Functions:

    Receives and reviews applications and renewal forms for licenses and permits pertinent to business operations
    Verify authenticity of documents and/or contact appropriate agency for missing information
    Assemble all documentation and submit license applications and renewal packets
    Work closely with peers and executive personnel in obtaining required documents and signatures
    Ability to adhere to stringent deadlines and ensure timely and efficient license acquisitions and renewals
    Assist in compiling information, maintaining records and updating database records in established system
    Prepare routine summary and reports to present to upper management
    Research and resolve various licensing issues as they arise
    Work interactively with cross-functional teams to achieve business and compliance goals and objectives

    Skills and Experience:

    Accuracy and attention to detail in performing data entry and accounting records relating to license applications and renewals
    Effective communicator, both written and verbal
    Ability to perform under pressure and adhere to deadlines
    Demonstrate effective computer skills - Microsoft Office including Outlook/Excel/Word/Access database, and other applicable software programs
    Experience with Business License Management Software – Avalara License Management
    Ability to work well with others in performing a variety of tasks
    Required Experience

    :

    2 + Years of experience in Operation/Business Licensing
    Education and/or experience equivalent to 2-Year Degree in business
