    Exciting Opportunity for EHS Manager Role

    We are looking for an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional specialized in electrical transmission construction in the Washington, DC area. The candidate should hold relevant credentials like a BS or MS degree, OSHA certifications, and have a strong background in electrical safety.

    The EHS Manager will oversee project EHS compliance and undertake various responsibilities including:

    • Ensuring Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance
    • Conducting daily EHS inspections
    • Providing project-specific EHS orientations
    • Coordinating crane operations
    • Participating in hazard analysis processes
    • Investigating incidents and developing corrective actions
    • Collaborating with project leadership for a safe work environment
    • Analyzing indicators to address concerns
    • Reviewing and developing EHS plans
    • Ensuring contractor compliance
    • Training craft workers
    • Working with trade contractors on safety measures
    • Liaising with the client's risk management team
    • Delivering EHS training programs
    • Managing a positive reinforcement program

    Minimum Requirements

    • 5+ years of EHS experience in construction/utilities
    • Knowledge of NFPA 70E and LOTO processes
    • Experience with live panel work
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

    Education/Certification

    • BS/MS in a related field
    • OSHA 500/510 certification
    • ASP/GSP/CSP/CHST/STSC certifications
