    Description

    Job Title: Assistant MEP Technical Coordinator

    Company: Exciting opportunity to join a leading company in the design, build, and construction of mission-critical data centers

    Type of Employment: Initially a contract position for 12 months with the potential for extension or conversion to a W-2 permanent employee

    Work Schedule: 3 weeks onsite and 1 week remote, guaranteeing 40 hours

    Locations: Flexibility to work nationwide in various states including Virginia, Texas, Arizona, Washington State, Wisconsin, Iowa, etc.

    Compensation: Hourly rate, overtime rate, up to $70 per day per diem, $60 monthly cell phone allowance, company laptop provided. Candidates handle travel arrangements and expenses reimbursed weekly

    Job Description: The Assistant MEP Technical Coordinator will support the MEP Technical Coordinator in coordinating and ensuring compliance with project requirements for the installation of electrical equipment at customer sites. Responsibilities include understanding design documents, project requirements, and quality assurance

    Responsibilities:

    • Project Planning: Review and ensure compliance with contract documents
    • Communication: Strong communication skills with field staff and stakeholders
    • Quality Assurance: Verify installations meet project requirements
    • Manage project status and information
    • Attend project meetings and address action items
    • Understand and enforce site safety procedures
    • Represent the company in a professional manner
    • Dependable in achieving project targets

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of electrical industry experience with data center work background
    • At least 2 years of electrical trade school or journeyman wireman preferred
    • Experience with commissioning data center equipment and energy marshal roles desirable
    • Proficient in reading blueprints and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Effective collaboration skills and willingness to travel within the US

    Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

    • OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E training
    • Electrical/Electronic trade school degree or Journeyman license preferred

    Physical Requirements:

    • Able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 45 lbs, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, and climbing
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
