    Role Overview

    • You will establish strong relationships with Groups (diverse markets) and local organizations to drive business for the hotel.
    • Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, handling incoming RFPs and inquiries, managing contracts, and aligning client needs with the hotel team.
    • You will report to the Sales Director.
    • A sales role offers insights into various aspects of the hotel industry, paving the way for a dynamic career progression within sales, from exploring new market segments and larger properties to eventually taking on roles like Sales Director or national sales representative.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Preferably a college degree, two years of hotel industry experience, or a blend of both.
    • Prior experience in Hotel Group Sales is mandatory.
    • Hands-on experience within the local Atlanta market is highly preferred.
    • Familiarity with Hilton operations is a strong asset.

    Requirements

    To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

    • Authorization to work in the United States.
    • Adequate education and communication skills for guest interactions and reading product information.
    • A commitment to uphold HVMG's Culture of Excellence through a welcoming demeanor and positive outlook.

    This role may entail a flexible work schedule, which could involve evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Any specific scheduling preferences should be shared during the application process.
