Responsibilities:
The Research Associate will be responsible for teaching and conducting research within the department or institute.

They will also have the opportunity to pursue independent research and further academic qualifications, as well as gain teaching experience.

At least one-third of their working hours will be dedicated to their own academic work.


Specific Duties:


The Department of "Mechanisms of Learning and Change" at the Institute of Psychology is seeking a postdoctoral researcher in the field of cognitive neuroscience.

The role includes teaching and research responsibilities, with support for the individual's own research and development of an academic profile.

The research should focus on reinforcement learning, memory, and decision-making in the human brain, preferably using advanced neuroimaging techniques and/or computational modeling (fMRI/EEG).

Teaching duties will consist of 4.0 academic hours per week during teaching periods (two times 14 weeks per year), as well as supervision of bachelor and master students and co-supervision of PhD students.

Teaching and supervision can be conducted in English.

This is a 3-year position with the possibility of contract extension based on satisfactory
