    Position OverviewWe are seeking a Sales Representative interested in a rewarding sales career with Navistar. We will train you about products and give you the tools necessary to find customers.
    The position will be based at our Nashville Used Truck Center.

    Navistar's Used Truck Organization (UTO) is a vital business unit which operates 13 Used Truck Centers (UTC's) throughout North America.

    The Used Truck Organization manages considerable assets gained primarily though new truck trade packages with major U.S. fleet companies. Our UTC's engage in significant retail, wholesale and export transactions. The majority of inventory consists of our International brand class 8 trucks, with a wide assortment of competing brands.

    ResponsibilitiesReceive sales and systems training from the General Manager, UTC Staff and Corporate Training ResourcesLearn industry specific sales tacticsLearn about our various productsAssist General Manager in maintaining Lot Presentation and Marketing and Advertising activities necessary to support salesIdentify sales opportunities and document activities in our CRMPursue warm leads and make prospecting cold callsMeet customers in face to face selling situationsLearn truck appraisals, inspections and incoming inventory check-insStay abreast of current inventory and participate in its managementDevelop quotes and invoices Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degreeORAt least 2 years outside or inside sales experience Additional RequirementsQualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.

    Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)Ability to obtain and maintain CDL status (Commercial Driver's License) Desired SkillsDemonstrated sales abilityTruck or automotive sales experience or experience in a commission environment is preferredKnowledge of truck specs of International brands and/or competitor brands is preferred Benefits and CompensationNavistar provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices.

    The annual base salary for this role is $72K a year + Commission Company OverviewNavistar, Inc.
