    Title: Python Developer with Quartz

    Location:New York, NY

    Duration: 12 months

    Hybrid 3 days office and 2 days remote

    Job Title Job Summary :

    • FICC wide risk engine application with critical components utilized across business line technology teams.
    • The Remote Risk team requires a developer with experience in risk systems to work directly with the LOB technology teams. The resource will work on developing and enhancing our key remote risk components and also engage with LOB technology teams; specifically working on SFRC (Strategic Full Reval Capabilities).
    • This individual will be working on improving the core components and the interactions within the Quartz architecture.
    • As we continue to onboard new businesses to remote risk the demands on the scalability of the infrastructure and key components will continue rise.
    • In this role the daily interactions with the Quartz core and LOB technology teams are high so it is critical to have a developer to interact closely with the teams in the region to ensure that the relevant remote risk components are built to work horizontally across all LOBs.
    • Remote Risk is a set of complex libraries with layered interactions across components which results in a steep learning curve. We therefore need a skilled full-time developer that can develop a deep knowledge of the system and its architecture over time and contribute to the core team deliverables.
    • Remote Risk utilization is in a growth period as we continue to onboard more businesses as part of the SFRC program and therefore we will continue to have an increased dependency on skilled staff to solve complex problems.
    • The Remote Risk Core team is involved in numerous deliverables for the year for CIRT and SFRC. Many of these initiatives serve as pre-requisites for upcoming regulatory asks such as FRTB and will position us well for future regulatory asks.
