    Job Description:

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a talented and motivated Data-Intensive Python/SQL Developer with Machine Learning experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining data-driven solutions that support our investment strategies. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in machine learning techniques.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications for data analysis, modeling, and visualization.
    2. Collaborate with our data engineering team to optimize data pipelines and ensure data availability.
    3. Utilize SQL to query and manipulate large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
    4. Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to extract actionable insights from financial data.
    5. Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in financial datasets.
    6. Participate in the design and development of data-driven tools and dashboards for investment decision-making.
    7. Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis and machine learning within the finance industry.
    8. Work closely with portfolio managers and analysts to understand their data needs and provide data-driven solutions.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
    2. Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
    3. Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets.
    4. 1-3 years of practical experience in machine learning, including model development and evaluation.
    5. Familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
    6. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
    7. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
    8. Prior experience in the finance industry is a plus but not required.

    Working Environment:

    • 5 days a week, onsite in Lower Manhattan.
    • Collaborative and innovative work culture.
    • Competitive salary up to $130,000, with the potential for a performance-based bonus.
