    Description

    Job Title: Python Developer

    Duration: 6-12 Months

    Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

    Other Locations: San Mateo, CA; San Ramon, CA; Stamford, CT

    Job Description:

    Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions

    • Understand client-side and server-side architecture.
    • Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
    • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
    • Write and document effective APIs.
    • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
    • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
    • Create security and data protection settings.
    • Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
    • Write technical documentation.
    • Work with data engineers and analysts to improve software.
    • Experience in Agile/Scrum based project executions.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
    • Experience developing desktop and mobile applications.
    • Familiarity with common stacks.
    • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript - React).
    • Proficient in Python programming language and its libraries.
    • Familiarity with databases (e.g. Snowflake, MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design.
    • Develop & deploy applications on AWS Serverless services (Lambda, Step Functions, APIGateway).
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, Great attention to detail, Organizational skills, analytical mind.

    Primary skills

    Nice to Have:

    • Must be familiar with Unit testing frameworks (Junit, Karma and Jasmine).
    • Strong Knowledge on Maven, Gradle, CI/CD using Jenkins/Bamboo.
    • Knowledge on Cloud App services, Load Balancer, Application Gateway.
    • Hand on with Cloud services – preferably Azure.
