Position Details
Position Information Position Title Intramural Sports Supervisor If part time, projected hours (per week Job Description Intramural Sports Supervisors are responsible for providing an atmosphere of fun in a competitive, yet safe, environment.

Supervisors must be able to implement Intramural Sports policies and playing rules in order to maintain an appropriate level of control, fairness, and safety.

They should maintain a positive attitude on-site and should be committed to improve their officiating skills. They must be able to supervise and officiate intramural events.

Duties Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Officiate Intramural contests
Assist with pre- and post-game logistics and administrative functions
Assist with preparation and inspection of the game site
Understand emergency/evacuation procedures
Provide positive public relations, program promotion, and policy education to participants
Attend all officials training clinics
Supervise and officiate intramural events Campus Location Council Bluffs Required Qualifications Must be eligible for Federal Work Study determined by Financial Aid application or eligible for student employment.

Employment opportunities:
This is a fall/spring position. No summer employment available.

Evaluation procedures & schedules:
To be determined by the supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, use hands to operate a computer keyboard, telephone and other basic office equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, use a phone.

Occasional lifting of 10 lbs., reading, writing, calculating, social interaction skills, reasoning/analysis, and ability to work with minimal supervision, and a high degree of problem solving and high level of inter-personal skills is preferred.

Pay Rate 9.00/hour
