- Work closely with project managers and install teams to understand project requirements and timelines for new commercial refrigeration installations.
- Conduct pre-start-up inspections of newly installed refrigeration systems to verify that all components are installed correctly and meet design specifications.
- Perform system start-up procedures according to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
- Monitor system performance during start-up procedures and troubleshoot any issues or anomalies that arise, using diagnostic tools and equipment as needed.
- Conduct functional tests and performance evaluations of refrigeration systems to verify proper operation, temperature control, and energy efficiency.
- Document start-up activities, including equipment settings, test results, and any adjustments made, in detailed commissioning reports for client review and approval.
- Proven experience in commercial refrigeration start-up with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, components, and start-up procedures. Including Emerson, CPC, and Danfoss control systems.
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and refrigeration principles.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environments as needed.
- Must be able to work out of town and nights (weekends off)
