About us:


The EJF Child and Youth Welfare Association Wartenburg is home to 128 children and adolescents at its locations in Wartenburg, Wittenberg, and Zschornewitz.

They are individually cared for, supported in their personal development, and prepared for independent living.

We are looking for you to join us as soon as possible in a full-time (40 hours/week) permanent position.

Your current lifestyle fits well with working in a 24-hour shift.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Professional handling of crisis situations
  • Independent and selfdirected work
  • Enthusiasm for the job
  • Completion of household tasks
  • Conducting team meetings
  • Cooperation and networking with colleagues, management, specialist services, and other partners

You bring with you:

  • Completed training as a special education teacher
  • A high level of responsibility and reliability
  • Enjoyment in the work
  • Strong empathy and sensitivity
  • Independent work and willingness to work cooperatively in a team
  • Respectful, strengthbased, and appreciative approach in all areas
  • Driver's license class B
