- Identify and prospect potential clients within the oil and gas industry, including drilling, production, and exploration companies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct regular visits to clients' sites to understand their specific needs and offer tailored chemical solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and consultation on our oilfield chemical products, ensuring clients receive the most suitable solutions for their operations.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to showcase the benefits of our products and services.
- Collaborate with our technical and support teams to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance the company's presence and expand the client base.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market developments.
- Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Must be 21 years of age or older to operate company vehicle

- Up to 50% overnight travel required to support sales territory
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 years of work experience in a business development or outside sales role with a strong sales performance history.
- Prior work experience in the oil and gas industry
- In-depth knowledge of oil and gas exploration and production processes, as well as the application of oilfield chemicals in these operations.
- High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and address their technical inquiries.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel frequently to client locations and work remotely as needed.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify opportunities and address customer challenges effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track sales activities.
- May be required to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.
- 4-7 years of successful technical sales in a business development role within the oilfield chemical industry.
