- Plan, organize, and direct the coordination and implementation of economic development projects, downtown event programming, and policies aimed at strengthening the economy and enhancing the City's quality of life and place.
- Identify opportunities for economic development, downtown revitalization, and event programming, making recommendations to senior staff and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage strategic initiatives to attract businesses, support small business development, and create policies conducive to economic growth and downtown vibrancy.
- Manage and approve the planning and coordination of downtown events and programs, including vendor management, community engagement, and logistical arrangements.
- Act as a spokesperson for economic development initiatives, representing the City in meetings, conferences, and public events, and fostering partnerships with stakeholders to promote economic growth and downtown revitalization.
- Supervise assigned staff, providing guidance, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of economic development principles, downtown revitalization strategies, and event programming.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify opportunities for economic growth and downtown revitalization.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.

Required Qualifications
