- Emails communications with individuals, foreign and domestic
- Handles day to day operations, for both Ocean/Air Exports
- Tracks and traces export ocean/air cargo from departure to arrival
- Completes data entry, status reports, and monitors shipment status
- Has knowledge of TSA security processes
- Has knowledge of DG shipment handling
- Updates KPI/Data Compliance/invoicing, auto-rating requirements
- Maintains Job Management
- Maintains job costing/billing/invoicing
- Coordinates bookings with carriers and service providers.
- Follows up with warehouse for on-hands, shipment processes
- Completes data entry in Toll platform CW1 (Cargo wise) - experience recommended.
- Creates shipments in the CW1 Platform
- Files AES
- Submits invoicing
- Engages with all Customers to fill their requirements
- Ensures all processing is aligned within the company's internal KPI's
- Maintains cost effective job processing
- Processes Accounts Receivable as necessary
- Maintains job profitability/job management

- Acts promptly in reporting any emergency and environmental incidents situations
- Notifies their manager immediately of any emergency situation or environmental incident

- This position is generally sedentary in nature; involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
- Ability to occasionally lift to 10 lbs. required.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two (5) year experience in logistics/freight forwarding industry
- Bachelor's degree.
- DG certification - Knowledge.
- Cargo Wise / AS400 system.
- Microsoft Programs (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Global forwarding operations
- Computer skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience dealing with customers, with a strong customer focus and service ethic

- Good time management
- Cargo-wise one system software experience preferred.

PURPOSE
A unique role working across all facets of the business, the Operations Support's responsibility is to ensure timely and accurate processing of Ocean/Air export shipments, to meet both business and client specific KPI's and services. To act as the daily interface between TGF and the customer in delivering a seamless and professional service that meets and exceeds the customers' expectations.
