- Monday- Friday: 8am- 4:30pm

- Schedule all surgical and imaging procedures for CCHS Surgical/ Admitting/ HVIS/OR
- Obtain all necessary insurance carrier referrals and/or authorizations for certain procedures
- Coordinates appointments and surgical clearance for patients with other physicians and tasks as required
- Provide non-clinical preoperative instructions, directions, and concerns for surgical patients
- Supports front desk with patient registration, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and other duties as required on a daily basis.
- Utilizing a proficient knowledge of basic OR equipment, identifies conflicts associated with case requirements
- Interact with physicians, physician's offices, various Christiana Care departments, patients, and patient's family daily
- Cross trains with other departments within Heart &Vascular Service line to provide coverage as required
- Performs other related duties as required.

- High school graduate.
- Minimum of three years related medical office experience with knowledge of compute scheduling for multiple providers.
