    Description

    We are looking for a Laboratory Quality Analyst to join LabCorp's team in San Diego, CA!

    The Quality Assurance team plays a crucial role in supporting the labs, senior management, clients, and other LabCorp sites.

    The **Quality Analyst** will handle projects and tasks related to quality assurance, quality improvement, training, and other departmental responsibilities. This position ensures that the laboratory delivers high-quality results to providers and patients, enhancing customer satisfaction and fostering loyalty.

    Location: San Diego, CA

    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide monthly and quarterly quality metric reports for clients and senior leadership
    • Assist with staff training, update lab procedures, and maintain quality documents
    • Support Quality Improvement efforts and conduct regular audits
    • Ensure readiness for inspections and regulatory compliance
    • Review proficiency testing results and draft regulatory responses
    • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and oversee document management systems
    • Participate in Quality meetings and provide regulatory compliance guidance
    • Perform administrative and clerical tasks as required

    Requirements:

    • Associate's degree in Medical Technology or a Life Science; Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quality management systems or clinical laboratory
    • CA CLS/MLT license preferred
    • Experience with electronic data management systems like MasterControl
    • Knowledge of laboratory regulations and audit procedures
    • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Proficiency in MS Office programs

    Pay Range: $60,000-$98,000 annually
