    Location Dallas Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt CompensationDescription Experienced Industrial Service Technician At Prism Electric we are looking for Service Electricians who are looking for long term careers, not just another jobAs a Prism Electric Service Electrician you will operate in a wide variety of environments troubleshooting, making repairs and performing both small and large electrical installations.

    Our primary customer base consists of Manufacturing, Light Industrial, Commercial and Property Management.

    You will be expected to be highly knowledgeable of your trade, provide excellent customer service, be self motivated, quality focused, and to operate safely and efficiently in the field with a minimum of immediate supervision.


    Required Skills, Etc:
    A minimum of 3 years experience working as a Service Electrician is required for consideration.

    Candidates must have a State of Texas Master or Journeyman Electrician license as well as a Texas Drivers license and a clean driving record.

    All candidates must be able to pass drug testing and national minimum 10 year background check.

    • Safety
    • NEC requirements
    • Customer service
    • Trouble shooting a wide variety of commercial and manufacturing systems
    • Trouble shooting and installation of motor control systems
    • Commercial installations
    • Manufacturing / Light Industrial installations
    • Generator installations
    • UPS installations
    • Lighting installationsIn addition to these skills, potential candidates must be physically fit, able to lift a minimum of 60lbs, and be willing / able to work overtime and weekends if / when required.
    Additional capabilities / experience in the following areas will be considered a plus:


    • Medium voltage installations (5Kv - 35Kv)
    • PLC trouble shooting and programming
    • Holder of Texas CDL
    • Certified thermographer
    • MM Fiber and / or Cat - Cat 6 cabling troubleshooting, installation and testing
    • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training
