    This position would be working out of the Blackstone Medical Services offices here in Tampa. A company owned and ran by Vick Tipnes.

    Vick is a self-made entrepreneur, motivational speaker and social media influencer nearing 2.5 million followers on Instagram This candidate will help with the financial planning and analysis for all of Vicks companies.


    We are looking for an experienced Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to lead and build our financial planning and analysis function.

    The Director of FP&A will be a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, providing valuable insights, analysis, and recommendations to support informed decision-making and drive financial performance across our diversified portfolio.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Planning and Budgeting:
    Lead the annual budgeting and long-range planning process, collaborating with department heads and business units to establish financial targets.

    Develop and maintain detailed financial models and forecasts to support the planning process.

    Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.


    Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports and analysis for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and risks.

    Conduct financial reviews to assess the financial health of individual business units and provide strategic recommendations.

    Analyze and interpret financial data to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.


    Strategic Decision Support:
    Partner with the executive leadership team to evaluate strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and capital allocation decisions.

    Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to assess the impact of different strategies on the company's financial outlook.

    Forecasting and Cash Flow Management:
    Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to ensure the company's liquidity and capital allocation are optimized.

    Monitor working capital metrics and collaborate with treasury and operations teams to manage cash effectively.


    Team Leadership and Development:
    Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

    Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the FP&A function.


    Compliance and Risk Management:
    Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements in all industries in which the company operates.

    Identify and mitigate financial risks and develop risk management strategies.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

    7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, including leadership roles.

    Proven experience in a diversified company or multi-industry environment.

    Strong analytical and modeling skills with proficiency in financial software and tools.

    Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.

    Strategic thinker with a track record of providing actionable insights and driving financial performance.
