PURPOSE:
Provide engineering support and project management to major maintenance and capital improvement projects related to the Grafton facility buildings and plant equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Produce accurate and timely engineering calculations
Design of electrical schematics, real time PC- and PLC- based control/test system on new or existing equipment.
Programming of C/C++, Visual Basic, and PLC
Supporting ongoing operation, troubleshooting, and resolving emergencies.
Organizing and maintaining information on plant system/instruments and improvement programs
Manage budget, schedule, subcontractors and internal personnel on projects
Documentation and training.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in design of control systems and maintenance.
Knowledge of PLC, Visual Basic, C language and AutoCAD.
Good communications and organization skills.
SPECIAL SKILLS AND PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to operate in confined spaces, or in dirty, wet, cold or hot conditions for extended periods.
Understanding of NEC code and NFPA, and hydraulic drawings.
Proficient with use of computer applications
