    Description

    PURPOSE:

    Provide engineering support and project management to major maintenance and capital improvement projects related to the Grafton facility buildings and plant equipment.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

    • Produce accurate and timely engineering calculations
    • Design of electrical schematics, real time PC- and PLC- based control/test system on new or existing equipment.
    • Programming of C/C++, Visual Basic, and PLC
    • Supporting ongoing operation, troubleshooting, and resolving emergencies.
    • Organizing and maintaining information on plant system/instruments and improvement programs
    • Manage budget, schedule, subcontractors and internal personnel on projects
    • Documentation and training.
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
    • 5+ years of experience in design of control systems and maintenance.
    • Knowledge of PLC, Visual Basic, C language and AutoCAD.
    • Good communications and organization skills.
    SPECIAL SKILLS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Ability to operate in confined spaces, or in dirty, wet, cold or hot conditions for extended periods.
    • Understanding of NEC code and NFPA, and hydraulic drawings.
    • Proficient with use of computer applications
