    We're searching for a Director of Nursing specialized in PEDs and Young Adults for a respected hospital located in Brooklyn, NY.

    Position Details:

    • Title: Director of Nursing for PEDs and Young Adults
    • Facility Type: Nursing Home
    • Location: Brooklyn, NY
    • Duration: 3-month contract (potential for extension)
    • Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday (5x8 hour shifts)

    Compensation - $80/hr

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Organize and conduct pediatric orientation and training programs
    • Implement infection control measures
    • Integrate Rutland Nursing Home's Mission and Core Values into daily operations
    • Drive continuous improvement of organizational systems
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional care for pediatric residents
    • Establish policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance
    • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards
    • Facilitate in-service programs and maintain documentation
    • Coordinate staff orientation and training
    • Plan, organize, and promote nursing practice standards
    • Participate in quality assurance and safety initiatives

    Required Skills & Experience:

    • Prior experience in in-service education
    • Ability to meet health standards and regulatory requirements
    • Capability to perform tasks involving exposure to body fluids

    Preferred Skills & Experience:

    • Experience in Acute or Long-Term Pediatric care
    • Proficiency in ventilator care

    Required Education:

    • Graduate of an accredited RN program
    • Bachelor's degree in nursing

    Required Certifications & Licensure:

    • Current BCLS certification
    • PALS Certification
