    Personal Care Home - Seeking a Licensed Nurse.

    Job Description

    The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring that high-quality patient care is provided. The Director of Nursing will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote patient safety and well-being.

    Responsibilities

  • Oversee the nursing staff and ensure that they are providing high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote patient safety and well-being
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care
  • Manage the nursing budget and ensure that resources are used efficiently
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff
  • Ensure that nursing staff are up-to-date on the latest healthcare practices and technologies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients and their families
  • Ensure that patient records are accurate and up-to-date
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure that nursing staff are following best practices

    • Requirements

  • Current nursing license
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
