    Leos & River Oaks Theater
    Be a part of history The Historic River Oaks Theater will re-open its doors under the Culinary Khancepts umbrella. Built in 1939, the theater will have a refresh to the Art Deco design of the 1930s. Enjoy elevated offerings from both food and wine as you enjoy the upcoming indie classics and the ever so popular Rocky Horror Picture Show midnight showings. Next door to the River Oaks theater will be one of Houstons premier restaurants. Leos River Oaks will reinvent your dining experience by providing a unique menu featuring other diverse offerings such as caviar flights, duck confit, and fresh pastas, along with some of the best steak cuts in Houston. Saturday and Sunday the restaurant will feature High Tea, Leos take on an elevated brunch fit for the River Oaks District.

    Responsibilities
    • Assisting the Chef in all ordering and inventories
    • Assigning accurate prep lists to the team
    • Controlling labor by learning how to accurately forecast and schedule team members, as well as monitoring revenue and making adjustments as necessary throughout the shift
    • Ensuring the team is following all Safety and Sanitation guidelines
    • Learning, understanding, and teaching the menu and recipes to each team member in order to ensure consistency and accuracy in quality and presentation
    • Learning and becoming proficient in each kitchen station, and be comfortable working on the line with the team as needed during peak volume
    • Learning, understanding, and teaching expo and runners how to ensure consistency in quality and presentation, in order to keep hot food hot, and cold food cold
    Qualifications
    • High School diploma or GED
    • Able to multi-task
    • Ability to stand for long period so time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
    • Customer service focused and solution oriented
    • Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
    • Food handler's card may be required according to local and or state regulations
    • A minimum of 6 months of employment in a leadership role with Culinary Khancepts or Star Cinema Grill
    • At least 2+ years experience upscale/ fine dining restaurant management, preferred.
    • Internal: Must be currently have a satisfactory performance record (not currently in a critical period on a Corrective Action, received a rating of 3, or better on last performance evaluation, where applicable)
