    About Us: Established in 1975 by an act of the Virginia General Assembly, the Capital Region Airport Commission owns and operates Richmond International Airport (RIC). The Commission directs the growth, operation and business activities of RIC and works tirelessly to ensure it continues to be an affordable option for local, regional, and out-of-state travelers.

    General Summary: The Director of Customer Experience is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the daily division operations, programs, and engagement on behalf of the airport. Candidates should have a proven track record of leadership, a working knowledge of division best practices, program and training development, and the ability to establish and execute goals to achieve the airport's Serve 2025 strategic plan.

    Required Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, marketing, or other closely related field
    • At least 7-10 years of experience in a related field required.
    Required Skills:
    • Strong knowledge base and associated experience in all thing's customer experience, for airports, large transportation, hospitality, and/or facility businesses.
    • Proven record of accomplishment of leadership, innovation, and providing outstanding customer service
    • Possess knowledge and experience in evaluating and influencing teams, organizations, and external stakeholders
    • Ability to work in a conscientious, consistent, and thorough manner with attention to detail and accuracy.
