    Description

    CarepathRx transforms hospital pharmacy from a cost center into an active revenue generator through a powerful combination of technology, market-leading pharmacy services and wrap-around services.

    Job Details:

    The Clinical Pharmacist Implementations Lead leads the organization, management, and planning of complex projects for the company's implementation, development, and operational efforts to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications focused on home infusion pharmacy operations. They will lead the facilitation of presentations, build strong partnerships with pharmacy executives at health system partners, and serve as the clinical subject matter expert for new and ongoing infusion projects. They will also serve as business partner to pharmacy operations as new infusion partners are transferred into core pharmacy operations.

    This leader reports to the Senior Vice President of Operations and will travel up to 50% of the time.

    Responsibilities

    • Build and improve processes that will deliver operational effectiveness and optimize patient satisfaction and safety
    • Influence decisions by the pharmacy leader at the health system to ensure goals are met at the partner and with CarePathRx including but not limited to:
      • Compliance/license standards to employ
      • Mix of referrals/business to take
      • Alignment mechanisms with health system
    • Lead development of programs that ensure a seamless integration with the core CarepathRx pharmacy operations including but not limited to:
      • Referral management
      • Validation of pharmacy orders before shipment
      • Inventory maintenance
    • Lead implementation workstream meetings and the overall executive engagement at the partner, including executive presentations and developing relationships with senior level pharmacy executives at the partner organizations
    • Partner, support, and collaborate with management in designing, implementing, evaluating, and managing assigned projects
    • Leads an interdepartmental team effort to complete assigned projects on time, on-budget, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency
    • Addresses questions, concerns, and/or challenges throughout the project
    • Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors
    • Anticipate the needs of executives and managers
    • Keep stakeholders informed of project status and deliverables, as well as risk and mitigation strategies
    • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices
    • Create and edit project related documents, materials, and presentations
    • Performs other related duties as assigned
    Skills & Abilities
    • Clinical expertise with RPh/PharmD licensure
    • Expertise related to starting a home infusion pharmacy, including but not limited to understanding compliance, financial planning, staffing, and inventory management
    • Expertise in home infusion process and policy development
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Strong business acumen
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
    • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy or PharmD
    • Active clinical licensure in good standing
    • At least 3-5 years in a home infusion setting
    • Project management experience; PMP or CPXP preferred
    • Ability to travel up to 25%
    • Exceptional presentation skills; able to influence up to C-level executives
