Job Description
We are seeking a professional and personable Employee Benefits Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that each customer has a positive experience when reaching out to our agency. You will respond promptly to inquiries, maintain accurate records, and generally provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, friendly, and familiar with insurance products.

Responsibilities

Provide support for Employee Benefits Account Executive tasks will vary each day and week depending on renewal and new business pipeline and client requests.
Provide prompt, professional, high-quality service to our customers
Research and answer questions regarding benefit plans, claims, invoices, and employee-level benefit and ID card inquiries.
Process enrollments, terminations and qualifying events with carriers and Third-Party Administrators
Assist with annual renewal tasks- marketing of health and ancillary benefit plans through carriers and TPA partners, prepare employer and employee open enrollment deliverables and file updates.
Maintain group files and client summaries

Qualifications

Ability to work directly with clients and outside vendors/carrier partners while establishing and maintaining positive relationships and maximizing customer satisfaction
Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, possess basic word processing and spreadsheet computer skills.
Efficient, Self-motivated and goal oriented
Life/Health License to be obtained during first 6 months of employment
