As General Manager, Northwest Region, reporting to LTSs COO, you will hold a key position in our senior leadership ranks and be responsible for the safe and profitable operation of LTS Operations in the Northwest region of the United States. You are an experienced industry professional with a proven track record of success and superior leadership skills. An effective Team Builder and Safety Champion, the General Manager, Northwest Region is recognized as an authority across the Ledcor organization and external clients, and is responsible for safety, quality, scheduling, and cost-effective management of projects.

    Supports and promotes Ledcors core values of safety, quality, integrity, sustainability, and success.

    Supports and promotes their divisional strategic plan

    Works collaboratively with safety personnel to ensure adherence to Ledcors corporate safety programs and policies.

    Manages, and is responsible for costs and profitability of their operations through the participation in the development and execution of their operating budget.

    Ensures that the division meets the defined targets in terms of quality, deadlines, and budgets by reviewing work requirements, schedules, and cost reports on a regular basis.

    Assists in development of and ensures implementation of policies and procedures to ensure functional strategies and corporate objectives are met.

    Pursues and develops new divisional opportunities focusing on developing long-term partnerships with most critical stakeholders to maximize long-term gains and continues client support on current projects.

    Provides input into their operations long term planning and utilization of resources.

    Ensures all projects are executed according to the corporate and contractual requirements.

    Evaluates and manages risk for future opportunities and throughout current projects.

    Ensures ongoing communication within their operations and ensures implementation of performance management policies and programs.

    May perform other related duties as assigned.

    **Qualifications**

    Completion of post-secondary education with a degree in Engineering or related field or related experience.

    5-10 years related industry experience in a leadership or direct management role including strong Project Management experience.

    Results oriented with a continual improvement mindset. Effective team builder.

    Proven leadership skills within their teams in the areas of safety, quality, and operations.

    Has developed technical knowledge of modern construction practices, techniques, and equipment.

    Understanding of contract documents for the purpose of protecting the interest of stakeholders.

    Knowledge of construction costs and budgets, ability to plan and manage to a project schedule, contract negotiation/management skills.

    Has thorough knowledge of safety practices within the industry.

    Anticipates problems and challenges and provides leadership in creating innovative solutions to achieve organizational objectives.

    Interacts internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of critical matters, influences policy making.

    Acts as a mentor and at times skilled arbitrator in complex or political situations.

    **Working conditions**

    This is an office-based position with regular travel to various projects sites and office locations, 25-50% of the time.

    This person must be fit enough to be able to successfully access and get around job sites to complete inspections, investigations, and audits.

    Drug and alcohol testing may be required to access project sites, post incident and reasonable cause
