- This is a full-time position for morning/swing/evening mid-shifts, 12-13 shifts/month with opportunities for additional shifts.
- Independently managing moderate and low acuity patients with immediate side-by-side physician support available in a well-staffed, large ED (>50 beds).

- PA candidates are required to have at least a master's degree from a training program accredited by the ARC-PA (Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant) and have a current PA-C designation having passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE). Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in emergency medicine settings or have completed an emergency medicine residency accredited by the Association of Post Graduate PA Programs (APPAP).*

Where You'll Work
Opened in 1941, Providence Portland Medical Center is a 480+ bed facility providing some of the
most advanced services in the region. The Emergency Department serves roughly 60,000 visits per year. Currently undergoing a top to bottom renovation, the department expects to further expand its already high acuity and coverage over the coming months.

Formed in 1979, OEP is a long-tenured, small democratic group serving three Providence hospitals in the Portland region. We are united in support with Providence in providing emergency services, sharing in the universal mission to provide compassionate care to all who need its services, especially the poor and vulnerable.
