- Teach assigned courses in English composition, literature, and/or language
- Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials focusing on student success
- Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their writing skills
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and other evaluation methods
- Maintain best practices in English education to continuously improve instructional quality
- Participate in professional development activities and faculty meetings as required
Requirements: - Master's degree in English or closely related discipline, from a regionally accredited institution of higher education
- College level teaching experience.
- Ability to respectfully interact with a highly diverse student body
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic academic environment
- Must attend a scheduled faculty orientation
Preferred qualifications: - Availability on weekends, evenings
