    Senior Accountant
    Dallas, TX
    Compensation: $100K - $110K DOE

    One of Vaco's fast growing clients is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the team. Ideal candidates will have a blended background of finance and accounting, be deadline driven, and have experience partnering with executive leadership.

    Responsibilities:
    • Assist in the development of the company's budget and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
    • Oversee successful completion of month-end close, full accounting functions
    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
    • Coordinate external audits, including liaising with auditors and providing necessary documentation.
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives and long-term sustainability.
    • Identify and implement process improvements
    • Complete monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc management reporting
    • Perform other duties as required
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field
    • CPA preferred
    • Public accounting experience highly preferred
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

    • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
