    Position Overview:


    We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth within the Northeast Territory.

    The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, strong business acumen, and a proven track record of successfully identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities.

    This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by forging strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth for the company.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the Northeast Territory to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

    Identify and prioritize key accounts and prospects within the territory, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and position the company as their preferred CDMO partner.

    Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and close, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for clients.

    Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, operations, and technical teams, to tailor solutions to meet client needs and drive customer satisfaction.

    Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive developments, and regulatory changes within the pharmaceutical sector, leveraging insights to inform business strategy and decision-making.

    Represent the team at industry conferences, tradeshows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and expand professional networks.

    Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends to senior management, contributing to strategic planning and forecasting efforts.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
    Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment.
    Strong understanding of drug development processes, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and regulatory requirements.
    Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and persuade key stakeholders.
    Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities, leveraging market insights and industry knowledge.
    Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and drive to achieve excellence.
    Willingness to travel within the Northeast Territory and occasionally nationally as required.
