    Sr Project Controller – Hybrid Schedule - York, United States - Meridian Technologies

    Join the team at Meridian! We are currently looking for a Senior Project Controller/Scheduler to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This position offers a Hybrid Schedule for your convenience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development of reporting systems for project controls assignments.
    • Perform complex aspects of individual scheduling, change documentation, and cost control.
    • Report up to program or portfolio level.
    • Train and teach other members of the PC organization.
    • Manage a high volume of projects with a high level of complexity.
    • Interact with individuals of varying levels of maturity in various organizations.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, project management, engineering, or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 7 years of project controls scheduling experience using Primavera (P6) or 11 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
    • Proficiency in Primavera (P6) and project controls principles.
    • Experience leading schedule review meetings and working with project teams.
    • Expertise in project management, project controls concepts, and relevant computer applications.
    • Ability to work independently.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in business, finance, project management, or equivalent.
    • PMI or AACE certification such as PMP, CAPM, or equivalent.
    • Proficiency in various software tools like MS Office Suite, Primavera, and Risk management tools.
    • Demonstrated hands-on experience using Primavera (P6) as the scheduling software.

    Additional Details:

    PPE is required for occasional field visits.

    Our Project Controls Specialists are expected to visit project sites quarterly and must have the following: Hard hat, protective eyewear, and flame retardant clothing, steel/composite-toed footwear which must be purchased by the CW/Supplier.

    This position is a 12 Month Contract.
