- Communicate with clients to identify legal needs and concerns
- Independently manage Conservatorship and Estate Planning matters from start to finish
- Prepare Petitions and other court-related documents
- Make court appearances
- Advise clients on issues regarding Conservatorships, Estate Planning and Public Benefits Planning
- Draft comprehensive estate plans, including Revocable Living Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, Wills,
- Participate in business social activities and presentations that generate new clients and/or more
- Perform administrative functions related to case management
- Licensed to practice in California; Good standing with the State Bar
- Demonstrated client relationship skills including the ability to lead in-person client meetings
- Ability to conduct legal research, analyze case law, and stay up-to-date with changing laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Typing proficiency of 50+ wpm
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong work ethic
- Experience with Conservatorships, Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Probate, Special Needs
- Experience with AbacusLaw software
- Experience with Lawgic software

Job DescriptionTrusts and Estates Law Practice has an opening for a Full-Time Associate Attorney. We are looking for a self-motivated attorney to join our firm. This position will focus on matters related to Conservatorships, Estate Planning, Public Benefits Planning, and Estate Administration.
