    The Position:

    The Underwood Law Firm is a boutique real estate litigation firm looking for an Associate Attorney with 0 to 5 years of experience to join our rapidly growing firm. Our work involves pioneering novel issues and innovative approaches in the cutting-edge field of partition law. Each attorney receives on-on-one training from seasoned professionals to grow each attorney to their full potential.

    Responsibilities:

    · Drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal correspondence

    · Arguing in court

    · Developing litigation strategies to help clients achieve their goals

    · Reviewing and investigating legal claims

    · Conducting legal research and writing, including complaints, discovery, briefs, and letters;

    · Appearing for court and depositions;

    · Negotiating settlements with opposing counsel and clients

    · Reporting to firm management.

    Requirements:

    · Strong interest in the firm's practice areas (Real Estate/ Business / Civil Litigation)

    · Attention to detail

    · Excellent research, writing, and communication skills

    · Self-motivated

    · Commitment to ethical practice

    · Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team

    · Values high quality work and intellectual curiosity

    Compensation:

    This position pays up to $175,000 annually, with incentives. Compensation depends on experience.

    Location:

    Attorneys can work remotely from home, or from a nearby office in one of our locations in San Francisco, Sacramento, Orange County, and San Diego.
