- Represent clients in labor and employment litigation, addressing discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and related claims.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, and prepare for hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Prepare for and attend depositions
- Offer strategic advice and guidance to clients on labor and employment law compliance, risk mitigation, and best practices.
- Assist in internal investigations of employee complaints and allegations of misconduct.
- Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to efficiently manage caseloads and meet client deadlines.
- Stay on top of developments in labor and employment law, engaging in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar Association.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing employer-side labor & employment law in a law firm setting. Candidates with experience in other defense litigation areas are welcome to apply.
- Proficiency in federal and California employment laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic work environment, demonstrating adaptability.

Salary is commensurate based on experience, but the proposed range for this role is $145k-$220k annually. In addition to this there is a comprehensive bonus structure, including discretionary annual bonuses and performance-based bonuses.
