    The Business Process Architecture & Engineering (BPA&E) team is a newly formed team at GEICO with a mandate to transform GEICO's business processes using intelligent process automation capabilities, RPA and LCNC platforms.

    GEICO is seeking a Senior Manager, Digital Process Automation within the BPA&E team who will be responsible for the strategy, leadership, and delivery of business process automation initiatives across GEICO. This individual brings rigor and discipline to the organization through expertise in business process & workflow automation, and process analysis and redesign. The manager will be responsible for analyzing business processes, and identifying and implementing process automation solutions. The position requires strong collaboration, communication, leadership, and change management skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.

    Responsibilities

    - Work with business partners to identify, evaluate, and prioritize business process automation initiatives, leveraging industry wide practices and tools
    - Pursue new and innovative ways to create impactful solutions for our customers, as well as find opportunities to re-engineer existing solutions for greater efficiency and performance, including identification of opportunities for reuse of existing automation solutions
    - Develop architectures and prototypes for process automation using RPA and low-code / no-code (LCNC) solutions such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, AI Builder)
    - Lead a team of business process architects, automation engineers, and analysts in business process automation efforts
    - Define measures to objectively assess improvements in business process performance
    - Develop artifacts that capture as-is and to-be process flows at differing levels of detail
    - Support the operational teams transition to target state
    - Keep abreast of the changing process automation landscape, including providing thought leadership on intelligent process automation and hyper automation methods
    - Drive the delivery of work using SAFe agile delivery methods
    - Create a culture of automation, by driving development and implementation of enterprise frameworks and strategic plans for automation, process improvement, process transformation, and process re-engineering methodologies and best practices

    Qualifications

    - 7+ years of relevant experience transforming business processes and creating operational efficiency using process automation technologies
    - 5+ years of experience working on business process automation, workflow automation and process redesign initiatives
    - 4+ years of experience working with RPA tools such as Power Automate, UiPath or Blue Prism
    - 4+ years of experience working with low code / no code (LCNC) platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform
    - 3+ years of experience leading a team of business process architects, process engineers and technical process analysts
    - Proven experience in working with business owners to determine business requirements for systems
    - Ability to lead and manage large and small projects across diverse suite of business process areas and operational topics
    - Excellent verbal/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to both Senior Leadership and technical staff
    Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    - Self-motivated and capable of operating independently with limited oversight
    - Ability to motivate all levels of performers to even higher levels of achievement
    - Property and Casualty Insurance industry experience is a plus
    - Process Mining (e.g. Celonis) experience is a plus
    - Certifications in Lean Six Sigma or RPA and LCNC platforms such as Power Platform are a plus

    Education
    - Bachelor's Degree preferred

    Annual Salary

    $120, $261,500.00

    The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
