    Position SQL Server/Azure DB Administrator Location Lansing, MI **Description:**

    Our client seeks a SQL Server/Azure DB Administrator professional. Candidate will participate in designing, developing, and refining an educational database systems to ensure that they are secure, reliable, and robust. Implements changes to increase performance and efficiencies. Evaluates and tests security systems performance, maintain reliable, optimized, high performance databases.

    **Roles and Responsibilities**

    Lead database system optimization effort

    Work on agency high priority work items for SSIS, ETL, and SQL job changes

    Manage data replication options such as SQL Server Availability Group configurations

    **Skills Required**

    12 years - Experience as a Database Administrator

    12 years - T-SQL

    12 years - PowerShell

    12 years - Azure DevOps, Scrum, Kanban, Radis, SQL VM Server Configuration

    SSIS, ETL, SQL

    Managing data replication options such as SQL Server Availability Group configurations

    Bachelors Degree

    Highly motivated and able to excel in both team and individual environments

    Enjoy problem solving and learning new technologies and concepts

    Quickly able to adapt to new environments through research and discipline
