    System Analyst


    Hybrid:
    Lansing, MI

    We are seeking an experienced IT professional proficient in installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and advanced setup of JBoss application servers in both standalone and clustered environments, as well as Apache Tomcat webservers on Linux operating systems

    Responsibilities:


    Provide real-time technical support for environments and supported applications on JBoss Application servers, Apache Tomcat, and Red Hat OS.Deploy and manage large-scale applications into JBoss application servers, assuming a systems and application administration role.

    Troubleshoot production and operational issues for middleware technologies like Apache, Tomcat, and JBoss application servers.
    Utilize bash, Shell Scripting, or other Infrastructure Scripts as necessary.
    Offer technical support in JBoss/middleware services including patching, upgrading, and performance tuning.
    Possess a minimum of five years of experience in the installation and administration of JBoss Middleware Services.
    Demonstrate familiarity with Agile software/tools (e.g., JIRA) and DevOps processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins/Bamboo/Azure DevOps).


    Requirements:


    5+ years of experience in installing and configuring JBoss Enterprise Application Server (versions 5.1/6.0/7.x/8.x).5+ years of experience in installing Apache, Tomcat, Websphere Application Server, and JBoss Application Server.

    Relevant experience in DevOps tools like Jenkins and developing CI/CD pipelines for code deployments.

    Proficiency in setting up code repositories and branching strategies for new projects using GIT and BITBUCKET or similar version control software.

    Experience configuring Data Sources and JDBC providers for database connectivity for JBoss Application Server.
    Experience configuring and administering JMS Connection factories, JMS Queues, Topics, Distributed Queues in IBM MQ or similar technologies.
