    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Assist in the management of the cost, schedule, and risks of one program:

    • Measure and report program performance
    • Aid in the development of a program financial baseline and monitor performance against the baseline
    • Aid in the development of a program schedule and monitor performance against the baseline
    • Log program risk and create risk review charts that identify risk, mitigation, and risk burn down plans
    • Establish and maintain labor/non-labor resource allocation plan in support of execution of program plan
    • Collaborate with SES leadership on identification and assignment of resources required to support program plan demand
    • Monitor subcontractors in support of program plan execution
    • Work with Material Planning group to form Statement of Work (SOW) and/or requirements defining the scope of effort for the subcontractor
    • Monitor and report on subcontractor performance against requirements
    • None to novice level of prior experience required
    • Control Program Documentation
    • Track all contract deliverables
    • Control and track customer correspondence

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/education

    Have or working towards Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

    Engineering background is preferred but not required

    Years of Experience: 0-5 years of experience in direct application of program management subject matter

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong financial management and planning skills
    • Strong MS Office skills, especially Word, Excel, Project, and Power Point
    • Excel – Establish and maintain budgetary baselines, track actual expenditures, forecast future costs
    • Project – Establish and maintain a program schedule to show critical path, tracks customer and internal milestones, identifies time phases of resource needs, can be used for reporting internally and externally
    • Word – Creating and updating documents for delivery to the customer, provide to subcontractors for direction, and respond to internal requirements for documentation
    • Power Point – Creating presentations for program status, design reviews and other meetings both internally and externally
    • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills in order to clearly and effectively convey issues, status reports, risk assessment, quality management, data validation, and interface with a highly technical engineering and leadership staff
    • Familiarity with manufacturing in an electronics environment a plus
