    Home Care Representative Associate



    Location:
    Honolulu, HI


    Pay:
    $18/hr

    Experience: 2 years of work experience in a healthcare office environment; 1 year work experience in a home care organization

    Education:
    High school diploma or GED; certification(s) in healthcare or medical assisting programs; Associates degree in health care field is preferred


    Type:
    Full-time; Contract


    Schedule:
    Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

    Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Home Care Representative Associate to join a growing and dynamic team


    Job Description:
    Assist the Home Care Representatives to facilitate referrals for Medicare Certified home care services to ensure appropriate continuity of patient care
    Collaborate and assist internal and external customers to provide a comprehensive referral for clinicians
    Performs data entry functions as needed
    Communicate both in person and over the phone with customers patients and families and referral sources
    Operate office equipment including computer, telephone, copier, and facsimile machine/server
    Assist with the electronic referral intake process
    Maintain current knowledge regarding insurance coverage guidelines for home health services; obtains prior authorization or start the process as required to initiate care
    Attend staff meetings, professional service meetings and participates in staff development activities and workshops as required


    Position Requirements:
    Must have knowledge of medical terminology


    • Ability to be accurate and meticulous when completing assignments
    Ability to problem solve quickly and efficiently, identifying and solving problems with ease
    Interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures
    Obtain clear communicate
    Must be fully Covid-19 vaccinated; those with eligible exemptions will be tested regularly
    Must have current TB clearance.
    Valid driver's license, vehicle, vehicle insurance as required by state law.
