Mon – Fri, 7:30am -4:30pm, Sat: 8:00am - 12:00pm
Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing and dynamic team
Job Description:
Greet and welcome patients into the office.
Schedule and confirm appointments.
Handle insurance verification and referrals.
Obtain patient medical information and history.
Collect and record patient vital signs, weight, and height.
Prepare rooms and assist physicians during examinations.
Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens as needed.
Log and prepare specimens for testing.
Communicate treatment procedures, medications, and diets to patients.
Maintain and order office, medical, and lab supplies.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Experience with Epic electronic medical records, Akamai practice management, and Hawaii Immunization Registry.
Current BLS certification and HIPAA Certified.
Effectively work on a team and independently.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Possess good judgment and strong problem-solving skills.
Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
