    **What is it that we do at Colonial Pipeline Company?**

    Colonial Pipeline is the largest refined products pipeline in the United States, transporting more than 100 million gallons or 2.5 million barrels per day. Colonial transports various grades of gasoline, diesel fuel, home heating oil, jet fuel, and fuels for the U.S. military through a pipeline system. Colonial transports approximately 45 percent of all fuel consumed on the East Coast, providing refined products to more than 50 million Americans.

    **About the Strategy and Development Manager Position**

    As the Strategy and Development Manager you will support the Director and VP of Enterprise Strategy in developing an overarching framework for the strategy and direction of the company. In this role you will prepare investment cases for petroleum assets supported by economic modeling, market analysis, and asset-level due diligence in order to support business development efforts. The Strategy and Development Manager will also assist in coordinating the companys strategic planning process. This process includes fundamentals analysis, developing forecasts, scenario planning, and analysis of strategic factors affecting our business. The role will work with the various business units to ensure that there is strategic alignment between the companys overarching plan and each of the business unit activities and will provide market intelligence to the commercial team and company.

    **What You Get to Do:**

    + Develop business case for acquisitions in collaboration with the team and lead due diligence in M&A activities.

    + Serve as support on acquisition/divestiture activity including opportunity screening, financial modeling, and due diligence, negotiating terms and contracts, collaborating with IT, operations, tax, accounting, etc.

    + Communicate findings during the M&A process to leadership.

    + Maintain annual market fundamentals report to management; preserve and update market intelligence reports.

    + Monitor and provide reporting on market indicators, business KPIs, petroleum industry and energy transition developments.

    + Analyze competitors and partners, keeping up to date with their activities, financial status, etc.

    + Collaborate with VP of Enterprise Strategy to track the Companys progress on strategic initiatives, ensuring business unit activities are aligned with the companys strategic plan.

    **What You Bring to the Table:**

    + Bachelors degree in a related field of study from an accredited college or university; will consider a combination of experience and/or education.

    + 5+ years of experience in Investment Banking, mergers, and acquisitions, and/or business development.

    + Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

    + Strong background in finance, market fundamentals and/or business development.

    + Solid knowledge of the oil market and economics.

    + Ability to consistently exemplify interpersonal skills, teamwork skills, and work ethic.

    + Commitment to consistently adhere to policies and procedures and be a positive example for others by demonstrating the Companys core values of Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Safety, and Excellence in completing work assignments.

    + Self-motivated, have phenomenal work ethic and looking for the right company to support your growth.
